Meet Dr. Hewitt
A proud graduate of Eaton High School, Dr. Hewitt and his wife, Bethany, share deep roots in their hometown, having raised five children who also attended Eaton High School. Following his graduation from THE Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Hewitt served as a dentist in the United States Navy until 2004. During his time in the Navy, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina.
In 2004, Dr. Hewitt returned to Preble County to establish a private practice he founded to serve his community. With a commitment to expanding his expertise, he pursued additional training in orthodontics, enabling him to treat children and adults with a wide range of orthodontic needs. A member of the Dayton Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association since 2004, Dr. Hewitt remains actively involved in advancing his profession. Beyond his clinical work, he is deeply engaged in the life of the community, providing friendly dental care to friends, family, and neighbors in the region. Dr. Hewitt’s dedication to both his practice and his community reflects his passion for fostering healthy smiles and meaningful connections within Preble County.

Meet Dr. Ross
Growing up in New Paris, OH, he earned his BA microbiology degree at Miami University before earning his DDS from The Ohio State University in 2014. With over a decade of experience serving Preble county at Hewitt Ross Dental, he enjoys making and maintaining healthy smiles as well as developing lasting relationships with his patients and their families. Outside the office, Dr. Ross enjoys Cincinnati sports and outdoor adventures especially summer boating trips to Tennessee with his wife, Jaimie, and their three children, Eleanora, Jonas, and Juniper.

Great experience here! I saw Dr. Ross today. He was fantastic. Very thorough, friendly and he explained everything he was doing as he went. He and his staff were friendly and a pleasure to talk to. They do seem to be quite busy here so plan accordingly. I’m “self pay” and the prices seemed reasonable especially considering what a great job they did.
Dr. Ross and Staff are great! I couldn’t have found a better dentist.
